Save Time and Costs with Our Installation Terminal Blocks and Connectors
Whether in a junction box or distribution box, WAGO’s installation terminal blocks and connectors offer you the right product for every installation job. Push-in termination of solid conductors, such as that offered by our junction box connectors, saves you plenty of time and money.
Nothing is too small to make a positive impact on our environment. Therefore, we have reimagined one of our best-known products – the 221 Series Splicing Connector.
A variant made of partially bio-circular and recycled plastics has been created to keep existing resources in circulation. The connector thus lays a more sustainable footprint right at the start of the installation.
Your benefits:
- Fast and easy to use
- The right terminal block and connector for every application
- Minimal space requirements enable high wiring density
- Clearly organized wiring in control cabinets and junction boxes
- Maintenance-free installation
- Permanent, secure connections
- Plastics made partly from post-consumer recycled material (e.g., recycled PET bottles) and bio-based residues from industrial and household use (bio-circular)
- Reduced consumption of fossil resources, since existing resources remain in circulation
- Same quality and certifications as the 221 Series Splicing Connector
221 Series Splicing Connector for all conductor types ranging in size from 24-12 AWG
- Easily terminate conductors from 24–12 AWG
- Connect solid, stranded and fine-stranded conductors
- Easily combine different wire sizes and types
- Time savings for installers and device manufacturers
- Quickly install devices with higher levels of power consumption
- Pull the lever up, insert a conductor and push the lever back down
- Pull the lever up, insert a conductor and push the lever back down
The 221 Series Lever-Nuts
Pull the lever up, insert a conductor and push the lever back down – done! As tool-free, lever-actuated connectors, WAGO’s 221 Series Splicing Connectors easily, quickly and safely connect solid, stranded and fine-stranded conductors ranging from 0.14 to 6 mm² (24–10 AWG).
They are available in various designs and variants. In addition, a large accessories portfolio is available, making WAGO’s 221 Series Splicing Connectors great for a wide range of applications.
Two Sizes for All Conductor Types
Quickly and easily connect all conductor types of different cross sections using two-, three-, and five-wire Connectors. The 221 Series Connectors accommodate Solid, Stranded and Fine-stranded conductors in two variants from 12-24AWG and 10-20AWG.
Extremely Easy to Use
You can open WAGO’s splicing connectors easily and quickly. Opening the levers on the 221 Series requires little effort. This means you can connect conductors quickly – and without any tools! While connecting the conductor, recessed handles on the sides ensure an easy, secure grip on the connector.
Two Test Slots
With the new 221 Series Splicing Connectors, you can now test the voltage from both sides – even when installed. The connectors have two test slots right where the WAGO imprint appears: one in the conductor entry direction and one on the opposite side. This accessibility provides extremely convenient testing conditions, even after installation, within a wide range of applications. Every connector variant also provides a secure contact for all standard test probes.
The 221 Series Conquers the Distribution Cabinet
Mounting carriers are available for every 221 Series Splicing Connector – whether it’s the two-, three- or five-wire model. They can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Secure the carrier by snapping it onto the DIN-rail, or with screws on smooth surfaces. The flexible mounting clamps simplify both connector insertion and removal. Conductors can be conveniently connected and removed before or after inserting a connector into the carrier. One test slot is always accessible, ensuring compliance with VDE standards.
The Same Quality from More Sustainable Plastics
Our well-known connector with orange levers also contains plastics made from recycled materials. However, we’re going a step further with the WAGO Splicing Connector with Levers Green Range. We continue to circulate existing materials while including materials from other circular economies.
- Internal recycling process: We reuse regranulate with nearly new product quality to produce new connectors.
- Therefore, our standard 221 Series Splicing Connector already contains a significant amount of regranulate.
- In addition to regranulate, the new WAGO Splicing Connector with Levers Green Range consists of 77% bio-circular PC (housing) and at least 27% recycled PBT (lever).
- Two-thirds of their total plastic consists of more sustainable materials than the 221 Series Splicing Connector.
- Same quality: Both connectors have the same technical data and certifications and are suitable for the same applications.
- The WAGO Splicing Connector with Levers Green Range is an option for anyone seeking to produce or construct more sustainably.
